OOPS I have two apps on my iPad -Tippy ProX app

This article will walk you through transitioning from the previous Tippy Pro app to the new and improved Tippy ProX app.

First simply unpair the reader from the existing app, log into the new app and repair the reader:

  1. Go to the iPad Settings App (the gear)

  2. Click on Bluetooth and you will see the reader under ‘My Devices

  3. Click the ‘i’ and then ‘forget this device

  4. Next log in the new Tippy ProX app using the company code
    (Not sure where to find it?! Simply log in the owners dashboard and it is located in the top right corner OR click on ‘account info

  5. Select your prospective location

  6. Choose yourself or an employee to receive the one time login verification code

  7. Enter the verification code

  8. Click on ‘Connect a reader
    (This is a new feature where it is prompted to pair immediately!)

  9. On the reader itself, press and hold the power button until the lights flash orange

  10. When prompted ‘Always Allow’ access to the microphone

  11. When prompted to share location, select ‘Allow while using

From this point you are back in action!

So let’s do a test transaction so you can see the new and improved guest experience.

  1. Select a service professional

  2. Enter the service total​​​​​​
    (Note to add additional service professionals Press +Add Person in the top right corner and enter their service total)

  3. Tap ‘Next

  4. Turn the kiosk to the customer

  5. They will select their desired tip amount(s)

  6. Tap ‘Tip now
