Remove EMV reader from box - note there should be 4 pieces - the EMV reader, a charging dock, a plastic bracket and a power cord/block. Until paired - wait to put EMV reader in charging dock

Go to TippyPro app and tap menu button in top left hand corner

Tap on “Connect Reader”

In “Card Readers” screen tap on “Connect a Reader” - the screen will change to illustrate where to push the pairing button on the EMV reader. Press and hold down the pairing button until the lights on the reader flash orange. Release the button and place the reader by the iPad

Screen will prompt you to ‘pair’ the reader and be sure to click ‘pair’.

The EMV reader will flash green to confirm it has been paired with the iPad; the screen of the iPad will change to a Status Screen with “Contactless and Chip” at the top. Note the Status - the device may begin updating once paired with the iPad, please let the update install. Once the update is complete, the Status should say “Ready”

Back out of the Reader screen and press the X to exit the menu
