Tippy Mobile App Set Up

How to set up the mobile app

Updated over a week ago

PSST before you get started ask your owner or manager if they are using Tippy Pro Standalone or Tippy Pro Integrated. If your business has opted into our integrated solution please note the additional instructions!

  1. Install the Tippy Mobile App from Google Play or iOS App Store - you’ll know you’re in the right place if you see Tippy the Pig - our valiant money making mascot

  2. Once loaded - open the Tippy App and tap on “Create Account”

  3. Follow the Account Creation Prompts - you’ll be asked for your email address and password - a security code will be sent to your email address to verify your account

  4. The app will then ask you for basic contact information Phone Number, Legal First and Last Name, Nickname, Date of Birth, Home Address) - this information should match what is listed on your government issued documentation

  5. Add your company code - your manager or owner should have access to this code and this is what pairs your Tippy Account to the business you work for

  6. Create a Branch Account - Branch is our digital wallet partner that allows you to manage your funds based on your personal needs! You can order a Branch Debit Card or connect your personal bank account for easy transfers. You will need to create your Branch account within the Tippy app in order for the two systems to connect with each other. If you skip over this step in the initial setup of your app - you can go back later and tap on “Connect to Branch” under “Deposits” in your home screen or tap on your Profile -> Wallets -> Connect to Branch

  7. Strike a pose! Add your best headshot so clients know who they are tipping

**FOR INTEGRATED ACCOUNTS ONLY** When prompted - please enter your salon booking software's login credentials. These should be provided to you by your manager or business owner. Skipped this step in setup? No problem - Select the “Login Required” button on your app home screen or tap on your profile in the top left hand corner, select “Workspace” and then select “Login Required” for each location that needs POS logins
